Ok here we are half way through April and the April Showers have settled in . Well kind of … We get predicted for rain almost everyday in April and yes we do get rain in April but for the most part its in the evening after we have finished fishing for the day . Its deceiving to others who don’t live here but as  locals we know the 80% chance of rain is 90% in the afternoon . I want to thank everyone who came out and faced the odds of the rain. We did get a lil rain a couple times out but it was just a light rain. I don’t fish in lightening so if I see it will be hazardous to anyone I will not go. The red fish have been a variety of  sizes from 14-30″ and the speckle trout have been 14″-18″ . I haven’t been targeting the specks but have been catching a few while fishing for reds .
