Spring  can’t get here soon enough . The weather hasn’t been the best that it can be ,but we have been able to catch fish with a little persistence. We have been mostly fishing the back water marsh that has water in it at this time of year for red fish . The weather looks to be getting better here in the next week coming .Looks Like 60’s and 70’s I’m happy for that since I have trips booked most of March and would like to see some warmer temps for them . I am running 2 boats so there are plenty of opening for those who would like to “COME FISH A NAWLINS GOOD TIME “. I would like to thank everyone who came out these past couple days and fished with Capt Roy and I. We have had a good start to this year and are looking forward to fishing with everyone who books throughout the rest of 2015 . I’m Captain Jason Shilling, owner and fishing guide of New Orleans Style Fishing Charters. I fish the bayous of Lafitte, Louisiana for red fish and speckle trout. Located just 40 mins south of New Orleans, Lafitte is home to some of the finest inshore fishing the New Orleans area has to offer.
