New Orleans Fishing Report 11/28/13 Thanksgiving Day Red Fish Round Up !!!

by | Nov 29, 2013

Another couple days on the water fishing and more customers go home happy with their catch from Lafitte, Louisiana . If you don’t know where that’s at . Its just 30 min south of New Orleans  where I call home. Yesterday and today were both successful days of fishing in New Orleans despite what some would think with the cold temps. My trip cancelled yesterday but Capt. Roy’s crew came out and smashed the red fish quick fast and in a hurry . Thanks Guys . Today I had Ice in the boat till 9am but we bared through the cold , put a box of red fish and bass  together and made memories  on this beautiful Thanksgiving Day . With a cold front blowing in the last couple days the water has dropped and so has the temperatures. Even though the conditions weren’t ideal we were able to pull together the trips and sent customers home with good stories of their fishing charter in New Orleans and lots of fish .  Im back on the water again tomorrow if you enjoy fishing give me a call and…….

I’m Captain Jason Shilling, owner and fishing guide of New Orleans Style Fishing Charters. I fish the bayous of Lafitte, Louisiana for red fish and speckle trout. Located just 40 mins south of New Orleans, Lafitte is home to some of the finest inshore fishing the New Orleans area has to offer. I’ve been fishing these waters my whole life and know how to show y’all the true meaning of southern hospitality, good times, and lots of action.
