NEW ORLEANS FISHING REPORT 5-14-13

by | May 14, 2013

This week has been a good week of fishing despite the weather canceling my trips for Friday and Saturday . The last couple of days the water has cleared up and the winds have laid down. Fishing in New Orleans you never know what Ole Mother Nature is gonna bring ya . It looks to be settling into the summer pattern with fish showing up all over and the customers booking trips daily . We are catching red fish and speckle trout with a few drum and flounders being caught at times depending on how we are fishing that day . If this sounds like fun to you “COME FISH A NAWLINS GOOD TIME “with New Orleans Style Fishing Charters  and me Capt Jason Shilling.

I’m Captain Jason Shilling, owner and fishing guide of New Orleans Style Fishing Charters. I fish the bayous of Lafitte, Louisiana for red fish and speckle trout. Located just 40 mins south of New Orleans, Lafitte is home to some of the finest inshore fishing the New Orleans area has to offer. I’ve been fishing these waters my whole life and know how to show y’all the true meaning of southern hospitality, good times, and lots of action.
