New Orleans Fishing Report 5-8-13

by | May 8, 2013

Ok this week’s been fun. I had some repeat customers and some new ones . Its always nice to catch up with returning customers . The week started off Thursday with an unseasonal cold front . The first couple days of the front blowing, fishing was good . After that the tide fell dramatically and mudding up the water all over making the fishing tough . Tough is tough but we are still putting fish in the box and sending customers home happy . The forecast shows the weather getting back right today and the rest of the week .I’m looking forward to the up coming week fishing in New Orleans with the rising tide and warming temps the action will be on.(RED FISH AND SPECKLE TROUT) If your interested in fishing in New Orleans “COME FISH A NAWLINS GOOD TIME ” with New Orleans Style Fishing Charters  and  Capt Jason Shilling

I’m Captain Jason Shilling, owner and fishing guide of New Orleans Style Fishing Charters. I fish the bayous of Lafitte, Louisiana for red fish and speckle trout. Located just 40 mins south of New Orleans, Lafitte is home to some of the finest inshore fishing the New Orleans area has to offer. I’ve been fishing these waters my whole life and know how to show y’all the true meaning of southern hospitality, good times, and lots of action.
