Winter Red Fish in New Orleans

by | Nov 22, 2018

November fishing can be some of the finest fishing in New Orleans, with the cooler temperatures and feisty fish. Down South Louisiana our winters tend to be mild (40’s-60’s) so fishing is a very big part of our way of life in the winter.

The Speckle trout tend to move in and the red fish move out the marshes to pile up in the bays with every passing cold front dropping the tides.

With that being said the days the cold fronts are blowing in the fishing can be tough and for a couple days after. But if you catch it right the fishing is amazing.

If your visiting family or friends for the holidays and want to get in on some good fishing give me a call and lets go catch some fish . I want to thank everyone who has fished with us since my last report . I know its been a while but its been a busy year…
