New Orleans Winter Fishing in Full Swing

by | Feb 14, 2020

New Orleans winter fishing is in full swing. Yes, New Orleans has a winter; it’s not much of one but we do get a little chilly here at times. At this time, the fish tend to congregate in certain areas and we can target specific species with the weather patterns of the time.

We have have been fishing a good bit for this time of year and have been pretty successful on our outings. Depending on the weather, we are targeting different species of fish. Speckle trout, Black drum, and sheepheads have been the main target species. We have been catching a few red fish but only in a specific weather pattern.

I want to thank everyone for coming out to fish with us in the last few months. Its been our pleasure and we appreciate your business.  I have been posting pictures and reports on our Facebook and Instagram pages of all past trips. I tend to fall behind on posting reports here because it requires me to get in the office and sit still. Anyone who has fished with me know that’s a hard thing for me to do.

Mardi Gras is in full swing. If you’re here enjoying the festivities and find yourself looking for something to do….
