Almost 2 weeks into the new year and we are still catching reds and trout. Hope everyone’s start to “2016” has been great . Mardi Gras is right around the corner and if your looking to get in some fishing while in town I would be more than happy to take you and your group out to catch reds and trout . We’ve been mostly catching Speckle trout but have been catching a few reds as well.

I’m Captain Jason Shilling, owner and fishing guide of New Orleans Style Fishing Charters. I fish the bayous of Lafitte, Louisiana for red fish and speckle trout. Located just 40 mins south of New Orleans, Lafitte is home to some of the finest inshore fishing the New Orleans area has to offer.
