7-28-2012 HAMILTON FAMILY FISHING REDS IN NEW ORLEANS

by | Jul 28, 2012

I had the pleasure of fishing the Hamilton family from Mississippi Monday and Tuesday . Monday with the chance of thunder storms I stayed in the marsh fishing in protected water and near some camps in case we had to take cover from rain . We caught good but just shy of our 25 red limit. Tuesday with the weather clearing and no wind I went back to the grass beds and had our limit of red fish for 9:45 . It was a fun couple of days with them . Thanks Y’all and I look forward to seeing y’all again soon. I fished yesterday and it was a tough day of fishing with some weather pressing in from the north west the fish were skittish I tried everything from spoons to plastic and to the shrimp under a cork . They just didn’t wanna bite.  We caught enough for them to go have cooked at a local restaurant and they were happy with that . You can’t catch em everyday I guess but it wasn’t from a lack of trying. After a  few phone calls to some friend it sounded like everyone was having a rough time . Well I’m off today but back on the water tomorrow and Monday . If you would like to get in on some New Orleans fishing and have a good time with lots of action give me a call to book your New Orleans Style Fishing Trip.
