Now we did catch fish but it wasn’t easy . Saturday through yestertday the fishing has beeen great with limits of red fish and a few specks to boot . The specks have showed up a lil every where  some cxaptain have been catching limits of them . My customers have been wanting reds so thats what we have been chasing . October is always a good month for fishing with red fish and speckle trout everywhere and the weather so nice its hard not to wanna fish in New Orleans at this time . I’m Captain Jason Shilling, owner and fishing guide of New Orleans Style Fishing Charters. I fish the bayous of Lafitte, Louisiana for red fish and speckle trout. Located just 40 mins south of New Orleans, Lafitte is home to some of the finest inshore fishing the New Orleans area has to offer.
