Fishing Charters New Orleans

Fishing in the back water marsh of Lafitte , Louisiana just south of New Orleans the Nebraska boys and I got on some good red fish trolling around fishing with weedless gold spoons. A couple thunder storms brewed up and ran us to another area to fish. With the winds picking up from the approaching weather the water stained up so we switched to fishing with shrimp under a cork and finished up their first day of New Orleans fishing with a box of fish. Day 2 was almost a wash out with rain headed our way we decided to make a go at it and fish till the rain ran us in. After a couple stops with no luck we found some clean water and got on a school of 6-8lb black drum. We caught our share of them and then some that were released to be caught another day. The summer has come and gone. Fall is creeping up on us and the weather is changing here in New Orleans. Temps are dropping and so is the humidity making fishing more comfortable than with the summer heat.
