New Orleans Fishing

by | Feb 21, 2018

New Orleans Fishing has been superb so far this 2018. I don’t see anything changing anytime soon . The water levels have come up this week and the red fish are starting to move back into the marshes. It won’t be long I’ll be fishing in the backwaters chasing tails and scales . This past week I’v

e had the pleasure of guiding some fine people from all over the country. Red fish have still been our main target, with a couple speckle trout hitting the ice here and there.

New Orleans Fishing is known as some of the finest shallow water fishing there is . These past weeks have been clear evidence of how good the fishing is here ,with limits of red fish hitting the docks daily .  Fishing with shrimp under a popping cork or on bottom have produced a great number of fish for me lately. We’ve also tied into quite a few with plastic swim baits and gold spoons as well.

Spring time is here and the weather has been beautiful, The winter weather is coming to an

end and the temps have been rising. With that the fish are cooperative and plentiful. This Time of year the snowbirds will be flocking in to get a taste of the nice weather of South Louisiana . If you’re coming to town and want to get out on the water for a day of fun action packed fishing…

I’m booking trips daily so feel free to give me a call with any questions or to schedule your charter today.
