New Orleans Fishing

by | Jun 21, 2017

New Orleans fishing has been good the last couple months. The past couple weeks hasn’t been any different, with lots of backwater action ,catching red fish and some black drum. Back water fishing, if you don’t know is fishing in less than 3′ of water in the marshlands . The back waters are the product of erosion of the marshes. As the land erodes it cuts passages through out the marsh and leaves islands and small ponds in its path. These areas hold lots of bait and fish in them. Not to mention it provides excellent cover for us to fish when the wind is blowing hard .

With summer in full swing everyone is looking to get their fishing in . Its been lots of fun watching everyone catch their share of fish this area has to offer. Especially the kids , its always a treat to watch a young angler experience the fight of the hard fighting red fish for the first time . We cater to all skill levels and want everyone to have a memorable fishing experience while out with us.

With all the competition in the area I want to give a big Thanks to everyone who chose New Orleans Style Fishing Charters as your fishing charter while in town . I can’t express my gratitude enough . This journey has been a great one and it couldn’t be possible without everyone’s support . I look forward to fishing with y’all again soon…
