Tight lines on red fish is what the last month has been. Its been nonstop action, fishing the hard fighting red fish in the back waters of New Orleans. With the waters stained up a bit we have mostly been fishing with shrimp under a popping cork. We have caught a few fish with artificial ,but that’s been a bit slower bite.
I’ve been fishing the back waters for now until the water temps rise some then I will move to the bays . Where the water temps will be cooler and the fish will be more receptive to artificial swim baits and spoons.
The weather has been nice ,not hot and muggy but perfect with a light breeze . We did have some rain in the last week but mostly in the evenings with no effect to our fishing.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone who has a charter booked in the upcoming weeks . As well as reuniting with repeat customer to catch up and have a great day on the water . With school letting out soon and vacation planning under way I’ve been booking trips daily. I’m running multiple boats so that we can accommodate every one.
